In Seymour Papert's (1980) seminal book Mindstorms, he is fascinated with the learning community of the Brazilian samba schools, and he discusses different ways for adopting the main attributes of the samba schools into more traditional schools.

Mr. Benny Bornfeld


Benny Bornfeld is a doctoral candidate at the Information and knowledge Management at the University of Haifa under the supervision of Prof. Sheizaf Rafaeli. His research examines online collaborative systems in coopetitive situations, looking to explore the balance and tension between cooperation and competition.

His academic background is in Aeronautical engineering, Computer science and MBA. Benny worked in the high tech industry for 16 years in both technical and managerial positions.
