I'm a doctoral student within the Education Technologies program at the Haifa University, under the academic supervision of Prof. Yael Kali. My research examines the impact of the Knowledge Community and Inquiry (KCI) approach, implemented in a smart classroom, for the development of socioscientific literacy among students learning science through socioscientific issues (SSI(.The study uses a design-based research (DBR) methodological approach and is a part of the Future Learning Spaces (FLS) project in the Haifa University.

I have worked as a professional instructional designer for about 20 years at the Center for Educational Technology (CET), MABAT project in the Science and Technology Center, Tel Aviv University, and various media companies. My experience includes the development of textbooks, simulations, international assessments tests, games and other digital educational environments, mostly in science, for ages 3-15.

In addition to my research I work as a science teacher tutor and a lecturer for Technology and Science Education at the Levinsky College of Education.
