    Dr. Sarit Barzilai

    Sarit Barzilai is a principal researcher at the LINKS center and a faculty member of the Educational Technology Program at the Department of Learning, Instruction and Teacher Education in the University of Haifa's Faculty of Education. Sarit completed her MA and PhD studies in the School of Education at the Hebrew Univeristy of Jerusalem. Previously, Sarit worked for fifteen years as an instructional designer and was the pedagogical director of the Snunit Center for the Advancement of Web-Based Learning at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. 

    Sarit's research interests are the study of personal epistemology, metacognition, and higher-order thinking in digital environments, learning with multiple information sources, and game-based learning. Sarit is engaged in designing innovative ways in which digital technologies can be used to advance students’ knowledge construction and reasoning.
