    Prospective PhD student in the Department of Education at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.

    My thesis for M.A - under the instruction of Dr. Iris Tabak -  focused upon the processes of cultivating beliefs about knowledge in the first year at university, and primarily upon the process of  discipline-specific epistemic socialization. 

    In the upcoming months (winter 2015) I am expected to file a final draft of my PhD research proposal. Building upon findings from the thesis regarding spontaneous behaviors of academic sharing between learners in higher-education I aim of applying these insights to design learning environment that can support epistemic sharing between learners and teachers. This pedagogical environment will benefit from the use of technological-enhanced learning spaces. I find a special interest in topics such as academic identity, gender in educational spheres, and qualitative methodologies.

    Parallel to my  research work, I am also active in generating an academic sharing student body, in which I am administrating a non-profit project facilitating students' insights about academic writing and sharing them to enhance their quality of writing. I had started my educational work as a Kdam Atidim excellance project's manager, as I was a member of Branco-Weiss Educational Institution. I have also had the honor of being a lecturer in the pre-academic program for men from the ultra-orthodox Jewish community in MCJ, until it was closed in the summer of 2013.

    I am a co-founder of the communal settlement of  Nitzana, on the peace boarder between Israel & Egypt, there I live with my life-partner, Gat. This settlement is located within Nitzana's educational village in which I aspire to found an institution in the spirit of communal learning.
