Doing Theory & Practice in LINKS Together
LINKS 3rd Annual Retreat @ BGU September 8-9, 2015
The organizing team of the 2015 LINKS Annual Retreat
is happy to announce the preliminary program.
Our theme is – Doing Theory & Practice in LINKS Together. The sessions will be work group sessions, rather than formal presentations. We aim to produce deliverables that will be posted online at the end of the retreat.
Midway through the center's lifespan we thought it would be good to harness our accomplishments and insights in order to sharpen our voice as a center:
Integrated Perspectives – LINKS brings together scholars from diverse fields. Does this offer a unique perspective on key issues of learning in a networked society? The theory day will focus on writing position papers in response to this challenge.
Tech & Learning in Action – LINKS R&D has created innovative technologies related to learning, social networks and communication. We are often approached by practitioners who implore: "How can I use this in my own setting?" The practice day will try to address this need by writing use-guides on how to enact these innovations in everyday practice.
We look forward to doing LINKS together,
